I must say, I am rather proud of myself for blogging an average of twice a week. *Pat on the back commences* Summer is the busiest time of the year for our business, so I'm impressed that I have managed to sneak in some blogging.
Friday was my sweet Aron's birthday. Every year (like most men), he refuses to tell me what he wants, leaving me to my own devices. I picked up Archer Season 2 for him, along with the banned Family Guy episode, both of which he fully enjoyed. He has such a sick sense of humor, and I love him for it.
We decided to try a new to us Thai restaurant in town, but it ended up being pretty disappointing. Bland and bleh. Hey, at least we looked cute.
By the way, I am officially obsessed with maxi dresses. I might have to devote an entire blog post to that subject.
Dress: Old Navy
Shrug: Target
Bag: Betsey Johnson
Though the birthday dinner was disapointing, his birthday get together the next day rocked! More on that in the next post.
Thanks for stopping by!
Adrienne
This maxi dress is so cute. I love the summery vibrant color.
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate getting psyched up for a great meal out and then it's disappointing?!
That dress is beautiful! I love the color and print. And that sucks about the bland Thai food, but at least it sounds like you picked him up some rad presents.

ReplyDeleteYou are rocking the maxi- and that green is paradise on you. Your maxi has moxie.
ReplyDeleteSame thing on my b-day, the Farmers restaurant, not so great on breakfast. Glad you looked fab though :) Happy Birthday to Aron.
ReplyDeleteThe Maxi dress is really cute, I keep looking online but I wish they'd have it to try on in the store. Maybe it was just the one at Opry Mills that didn't have them.
You look so good in the green printed dress. I love that print! Hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteAww, happy birthday to him! And I tell you what, even I would have been pleased with those gifts :]
