eShakti

Hello Again!

I was thrilled when eShakti contacted me to review one of their fabulous garments! eShakti offers beautiful clothing in sizes 0-36, and allows for custom measurements and style choices on all of their clothing.
Photobucket I chose this lovely Peter Pan collar dress to review. For a small fee, eShakti allows you to choose different sleeve options, necklines, and hemlines. This dress was initially sleeveless, but I chose the short sleeve option instead. What woman doesn't love options!

eShakti will custom make your garment according to your specific measurements. When ordering, I compared my measurements to their standard size 2X, and they matched exactly, no custom measurements needed. The dress fits like a dream!

I dig the style and quality of this dress. The fabric is soft, yet sturdy, and the dress is fully lined and machine washable. I generally stay away from Peter Pan collars because I feel they make my bust look even fuller. But, because of the placement and width of the collar, I feel like there were no bust issues. I'm also loving the bronze sequins on the collar. Photobucket Photobucket

Tights: Torrid
Shoes: Guess
Bracelet: Forever 21

I sported this lovely dress for for a Nashville date night. We visited Amerigos, where these amazing cheese fritters happened.

I am truly happy with my dress from eShakti. I recommend you check out their fab website, and receive $25 off your first purchase!
Have a good one!

My July Birchbox

Hello Again!

Yes, I am a bit late with this subscription box review, since it is now August.

How many of you ladies subscribe to Birchbox's monthly beauty box? I started receiving mine back in May. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed with my first two boxes. The choices were interesting, but some of the items seemed a bit random to me (blue glitter eyeliner anyone?).

I decided to give the monthly subscription one more go, and I am glad that I did! Here is what I received:
Birchbox partnered with Glamour magazine this time around. The theme for July was our five senses, and using them to fully experience Summer.
 I received:
1) Larabar Uber Nut Roll.-I found this roll to be super yummy and filling.
2) Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint-I tried a bit on my skin, I like the clean feeling and light coverage.
3)Oscar De La Renta Live in Love perfume sample-Not really my kind of scent, but not bad.
4) Bamboo UV Fade Proof Fluid-I can't wait to try this on my ever-fading red hair.
5)A pair of Glamour ear buds-Very cute and useful.
 6) I also received this Stila lip glaze that I forgot to include in the pic. It is a great neutral color!

In my opinion, I feel like Birchbox is a good deal for the $10 monthly subscription fee. You receive quality, name brand products (occasionally they are even full size). Overall, I am happy with this Birchbox and will continue on with my subscription. For you Birchbox subscribers, how do you like the boxes thus far? Does anyone subscribe to Glossybox?

Influenster Love VoxBox

Hello Again!

I was delighted I was selected to participate in Influenster's Love VoxBox product review. Here is a photo of the rad products I received.

Here are my thoughts on these products:

1) Truvia Sweetener Packets-Truvia is a more natural and yummy way to sweeten your fave foods. My husband has been using these to sweeten his coffee at work, and he prefers the taste to Splenda.

2) Stash Herbal Tea Sampler-Stash has a great variety of flavors, overall very tasty selection. These are also great for making iced teas, with Truvia as sweetener :)

3) Gillette Venus & Olay Razor-This was an amazingly moisturizing shave. It could have been a tad of a closer shave, but the silkiness of my skin made up for this.

4) Kiss Nail Dress-I just tried these out tonight. These are fairly easy to apply, and the design is cool. The application, for me, was made a bit more difficult by the fact I have extremely short nails.

5) Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate bar- One of the yummiest chocolate bars I've ever eaten. My husband was lucky to get a few bites :)

I will be doing individual reviews for the beauty products shortly :)

The VoxBox program is so much fun! For more info on Influnester, check out their "About" page here.

Note* I received these complimentary products through the VoxBox program, but my opinion is my own.

Product Review: Anjolee

Hello Readers!

This week I received a lovely diamond necklace from Anjolee for a product review.

Anjolee is an online fine jewelry retailer with a wide range of gorgeous designs, including assorted styles of tennis necklaces and bracelets. One of the coolest things about Anjolee, is that the customer is able to "build" their own diamond look by choosing the type of gold, carat weight, and so on. How marvelous is that? UPS delivered the necklace last night, and I was excited to check out the design!

First off, I must say that the presentation was amazing. The necklace came in a gift box with ribbon, which opened to a lovely wooden box that held the necklace.

I am quite impressed with the white gold necklace I chose to review.  The teardrop shaped pendant hangs on a delicate yet sturdy chain, and rests near my collarbone. This necklace was the perfect compliment to the Dorothy Perkins lace tunic top I wore to dinner that night. Anjolee has a ton of fabulous diamond necklaces to choose from.

This pic reminds me of a Sears Portrait Studio shot. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
The tunic top is kind of insane-oh so bright and lacy.

I definitely recommend checking out Anjolee, especially if you want to do a bit of holiday shopping for yourself!
