My Favorite Things: Pinup Girl Style

I'm still playing catch up after our Florida convention/vay-cay, but I am attempting to get back on a regular blogging schedule. Notice I say attempting.... My Favorite Thing this Monday is pinup girl style.

Those who know me from way back when will confirm that I have a love of all things vintage. Whenever I wear something retro, girly, or polka dotty, those that know me will say "That is so you." So, I think it is time to step up my game and embrace my inner bombshell a bit more. I have been rocking more of a casual, boho princess look over the past year. Fashion Nugget of the Day: Torrid Romper & A Broken Camera

I took a brief hiatus from the blogging world to set up at MegaCon last week. What is MegaCon you might ask? It is a gigantor comic convention in held in Orlando, Florida. We (Twisted Heroes ) set up every year and sell our comics and collectibles. More blogging about that later, yeaaa!

Ok, so here is a Fashion Nugget from a couple of weeks ago. A minor, OK a MAJOR disaster occurred while taking the photographs. I had my mini-tripod perched upon a dining room chair. The brisk March wind came along and knocked the tripod off the chair. Smash! went my camera :( I do have a poo poo backup camera, but I am currently looking around for a replacement. Any suggestions? (By the way,I did invest in a 6 foot tripod!)

For Japan With Love: Blogger's Day of Silence

It is heartbreaking to watch the images from Japan, the death, the devastation. It makes me feel so helpless.

Here is a photo of another one of the OPI Katy Perry colors I ordered. This one is called "Not Like The Movies". It is a strange greenish/grayish/purpleish color. I like the shade, though I think it's name should be "Swamp Rainbow" or "Muddy Skies".
