Brunch Time

Hello Again,

A few Sundays ago, The Ellers had friends over for brunch and a viewing of DJango Unchained. Bloody Marys and bloody movies are a winning combination! Though I am more of a Mimosa kind of gal...

I wore this bright, cheap dress I picked up at Ross. It reminds me of a 1950s peasant, vacation dress.

Dress: Ross
Bow Flats: Target (old)
There were waffles & fruit topping, potatoes, deviled eggs, fruit, and cupcakes. I am salivating just remembering this meal. Tracy did an amazing job hosting this brunch!
Tracy also made these little coconut strawberry confections. They were so yummy!

DJango Unchained is an amazing film. We first saw it with the Ellers on Christmas Day, so this was our second viewing. It was even better the second time around.

I hope you are all having a fab Friday. I am off to set up for a comic convention this weekend. I will be skipping the convention this Saturday morning, and attending the grand opening of our local Torrid with some friends. Woo hoo!

  2. I second the affection for that dress! You look lovely as always! Which comic con are you going to? I am confused about the Nashville one... we've been once and it was out near Opryland in a pretty small space. It was really fun, but we used to go to Comic Con every year in San Diego so it was definitely *different* ha! But I was looking up dates for the Nashville one this year and it said something about being at the Convention Center, so maybe it's grown? But then I saw something about a comic expo here too at a different place... I figured you'd know since you guys set up shop at most of those cons! Help a girl out! :)

    1. Hi Michelle!

Thank you! There is a smaller show this weekend at The Preston Hotel in Nashville, that is the one we are setting up at. I believe there is also a show in Sept which might be larger, not sure where it is located. Thanks!

    2. Thanks lady, I did some research on the interwebs and figured it out. Wizard World added new cities, so they will now be having a comic con in Nashville. It will be at the new Music City Center in October. Also, there is a comic expo at Opryland Hotel which is the one you're talking about. The one this past weekend is the same one we went to a few years ago. It was fun! We couldn't make it this year, weekend was already planned out. Hope it went well for y'all!

    3. Thanks! We won't be at the other Nashville cons, as we already made prior convention commitments. But if y'all are looking for anything in particular, or just want to say "hi", my email is lolarocksclothing@gmail.com, and my Facebook is under Adrienne Rice. Thanks!

  3. cute dress. Ross has always been hit or miss with me...but for some reason the dresses are usually plentiful. Also, LOVE Django unchained. I wanna watch it again stat.
