Vegas Day 3: Atomic Testing & Cheeseburgers

Yep, I am finally going to finish these Vegas postings!

By now it's no secret Aron and I strayed off the beaten path a bit on our Vegas trip. But I don't want you to think it was all educational! We started Day Three at the Mirage casino.

Me in front of my favorire slot, 1,000,000 Degrees. I won some, and lost more.
Aron at his fave slot, Batman (of course).

Then we moved on to The Atomic Testing Museum. Yeppers! It was an extremely windy day, but I was determined to get in a fashion shoot in front of the museum.
Dress: Forever 21 Plus, Cardigan: Mossimo, Leggings: Mossimo, Boots: Marshal's, Purse: Jessica Simpson Collection, Sunglasses: Target

Ahhh, the wind got the better of me. But, can I tell you how much I love this dress! The color, print, and fit are fab-thanks Forever 21+.

The Atomic Testing Museum was informitive....and disturbing.

Underground bunker and creepy vintage manequins

After the museum,we stopped by an In-N-Out Burger. This was our first visit to an In-N-Out burger, as there are none nearby us in Tennessee. Can I say I was impressed? I think these would be great drunk eats. But, it was only noon, so we weren't intoxicated as of yet. They were still yummy :)

We tried to visit the Burlesque Hall of Fame, but they were closed for an off site event :( So, we headed on over to the Pawn Stars shop. It was a tourist thing, we just had to go.

Well, there was this line we stood in.

After waiting in line to get inside, we made our way around the store. It seems different than what is portrayed on television. I guess they shut the store down for filming,or only let a few people inside?

We took the scenic route back to the main strip.

Later that night, we headed out to see The Beatles Love Cirque de Soilel at The Mirage. We were lucky enough to see this show back in 2008 on our honeymoon, and we knew we had to see it again. Here is a trailer of the show, but it doesn't really do it justice.

Hope you are all enjoying your week!
Adrienne

  1. whoo hoo lots of fun. Those mannequins are creepy! They're even creepier than the torsos you have, I keep thinking of the Doctor Who episode where they came to life.
In & Out is something I want to try but they're only over on the west :p

  7. I could have sworn I commented on this post but I guess I didn't, I did read it a good three times though, does that sound weird? I love the dress you are sporting here, the print and colors are gorgeous, you seriously look beautiful. Vegas! I've always wanted to go to Vegas. That museum sounds really interesting, I love the creepy mannequins. I've heard so many good things about In and Out burger but I've never been, I haven't visited the West Coast yet, saddy face. Pawn Stars! I was watching that the other day, I love Rick, he has an infectious laugh.
