A Moment's Peace

Hello Again!

Two days before we left for Vegas, I headed over to A Moment's Peace Salon & Day Spa to treat myself to a facial. Well, my husband Aron is the actually the one who treated me-via a gift certificate he bought me for Christmas in 2010. Yep, we were so busy in 2011 that I couldn't find the time, or the right occasion, to use it. Boy, I'm glad I fit it into my schedule, because it was an amazing experience!

When I walked in to my appointment, I was lead to the lovely sitting room below.

After a few moments my esthetician, Christie, came to take me for my facial.

The room was warm and relaxing, and they even had a heated bed!

Christie did an marvelous job! She was very sweet, and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I chose the Vitamin C Therapy Facial. Here is the description courtesy of A Moment's Peace's website:

"We recommend this treatment for reducing fine lines and restoring a youthful, luminous appearance to your skin. A deep pore cleansing with a high-potency concentration of Vitamin C is applied, followed by a high-tech formulation of freeze-dried seaweed. Great for dehydrated skin."
(Approximately 60 minutes)

After the facial was over, I took a glimpse in the mirror and couldn't believe my eyes! My skin was dewy, hydrated, and glowing. I've had a couple of facials in my life, but this one was the best experience by far. I left feeling relaxed and serene.

Here's a photo of my face post-facial, looking all bright and shiny :)

If you live in the Middle Tennessee area, I would definitely recommend checking out A Moment's Peace!

  4. Oh beautiful! I don't think I've had a facial. Might be the next thing, my last pedicure was with ya'll and the only other time I had done that was on my wedding.
